We only gather what we need to run a storefront and get a package to the right bench. That falls into two buckets — what you hand us directly, and what your browser shares automatically when you visit.

Information you give us

• Contact & shipping details — your name, email, phone, and the addresses an order ships and bills to.
• Order history — the products, quantities, and lot references tied to purchases you place.
• Account details — if you create one, your email and a securely hashed password.
• Messages — anything you send us by email, contact form, Telegram, or Discord.

Information collected automatically

• Approximate location and IP address, plus your browser and device type.
• Pages you view, items added to a cart, and how you arrived at the site.
• Cookies and similar local-storage signals that keep your cart and preferences intact.

How We Use Your information

• Process, pack, and ship your orders, and keep you posted on their status.
• Provide support and answer product, storage, or bulk-pricing questions.
• Maintain your account and, where you've opted in, send occasional product news.
• Detect fraud, protect the store, and meet our record-keeping obligations.
• Understand which products and pages researchers find useful so we can improve them.

We do not make automated decisions that produce legal effects, and we don't build advertising profiles to sell on.

When We Share It

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the partners it takes to fulfill an order or run the business, and only the slice each one needs:

• Payment processors to charge your order and guard against fraud.
• Shipping carriers to deliver your package and provide tracking.
• Service providers such as our email, hosting, and analytics tools.
• Legal authorities when a valid request or the law requires it.
• A successor if the business is ever merged or acquired — under the same commitments made here.

Cookies & Tracking

Cookies and local storage do the quiet work of remembering your cart, your theme and age-verification choice, and which products you've looked at. We also use privacy-respecting analytics to see what's working.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Some features — like a cart that survives a refresh — depend on them, so parts of the store may behave oddly if they're disabled.

How We Protect It

• Encryption in transit (TLS) across the entire site and at checkout.
• Passwords stored only as salted hashes — never in plain text.
• Access to customer data limited to the people who genuinely need it.
• Routine review of the tools and providers we rely on.

No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep the surface small and the safeguards current.

Your Choices & Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain uses. To make a request, email contact@metavials.com and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

You can unsubscribe from marketing email any time using the link in the footer of those messages. Order and account notices will still reach you, since they're part of the service.

How Long We Keep It

We keep order and transaction records for as long as we need them to support you, honor replacements, and meet tax and accounting requirements. Account information lives until you ask us to close the account. Marketing preferences stay until you change them.

Age & Third-Party Links

Meta Vials is intended only for researchers who are at least 21 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21; if we learn that we have, we'll delete it.

Our pages occasionally link to outside sites — a carrier's tracking page, for example. Those sites run under their own privacy policies, which we'd encourage you to read.

Changes & Contact

As the business grows, this policy may change. We'll post any update here and refresh the date at the top; significant changes will be flagged more prominently. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept it. For any questions regarding these changes, please reach out to us.
